Metaverse UX concept

Details

In partnership with Niantic, Liquid City proposed a concept user experience for a mixed reality future. This concept aimed to provide a simple way for users to control what they see, share their experiences, and discover new things. I handled the entire production for this film, including modeling, rendering, look development, and animation.

Additionally, I contributed to the concept and ideation of the UX.

Much of Liquid City's early work focused on figuring out how to filter and manage content in an augmented reality world. An example of this concept going awry is depicted in Keiichi Matsuda's (liquidcities director) work, "Hyper Reality," which paints a dystopian future overwhelmed by ads and content. Our project, Reality Channels, and its accompanying taxonomy, propose solutions to prevent an overcrowded future.

We also briefly explored creating an app prototype instead of a film. I built this prototype, developing mask shaders, animations, and raycast placements.
