This is a an ongoing work in progress project
Enso is an evolving embodied AI companion I'm building to help me manage my goals and focuses.
It was born from both my interest in AI companions and the problem I have of trying to manage the various different projects and goals I have. It can feel overwhelming at times to manage all the different aspects of life and I believe having a digital partner could help with this.
At its core, Enso features:
A flexible goal and focus management system visualised through interactive bubbles
An AI companion with awareness of all content in the app
Continuous learning through conversations, building a deeper understanding of you over time
Personalised guidance that improves as your relationship with Enso develops
Enso can execute functions around the app based on dialogue e.g creating goals or changing goal priorities
While the concept is still in early prototype stage, core features have been built out and a first round of user testing is complete. Please reach out if you are interested in being a tester!

I wanted the UI to handle both a high level look at all the core things you're focusing on as well as handling small reminders. I also felt it important the UI felt adaptable and in motion, not fixed lists and folders. While my design is far from polished the fluid bubble UI system has proved preferable to me that typical notes and goal apps list systems. Enso is aware of all of your focuses goals including those you've completed and can make suggestions and connections on what your working.

Having Enso feel alive in a way is important for being able to interact interestingly however I want to avoid the uncanny valley of it mimicking human behaviours too much, I think theres a danger there in people treating AI companions as alive with feelings which could lead to over-reliability and complex emotional issues.
You can customise Enso's colour however eventually I want Enso's appearance to have more purpose and meaning. I have played a lot with the idea of having Enso's form evolve over time either based on its understanding of you or based on the type of focuses and goals your work on.
